At least people are willing to discuss. I did read the whole conversation/bug report. Reminds me of the past IT project days. K.I.S. is the key word here ( Keep It Simple for people that are not bitminded) It is better to start with a simple green/orange/red status for each of the date centers based e few relevant server/service parameters that are monitored 24/7. As for the interfaces to Twitter, Facebook and Google Earth that's for for phase 2.
