This brings up an interesting side issue though: I don't use the Logitech's server software on my own computer. I just connect throught mysqueezebox.com.
However why can't the server software that can be installed on your own local computer or server be configured to BYPASS mysqueezebox.com to use the internet music services such as Pandora, Rhapsody, etc.? That is to say, I assume the servers at the datacenters for mysqueezebox.com just pass on the requests for music to whichever internet music service you want to connect to. Why can't that request just go from your local computer running the Logitech software directly to the music service itself and cut out the middleman - mysqueezebox.com? Maybe I don't understand how mysqueezbox.com works. Can someone please explain what I am missing here? -- mortslim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mortslim's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11039 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=74720 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezenetwork
