The UE variant of the radio is very very crippled compared to the
SqueezeBox experience whe are used to .

They think it sells I don't .

We have a bunch of treads about that to , for example no web-UI controll
of playback of local files and the clincher no playback of local files
without Internet conection :) that would be a huge success when uesr.com
goes down with a technical problem...

I expect to be using my squeezeboxes for a while longer until something
else appears on the market that could work in this niche.
There seems to be nothing at the moment ( Sonos has to many limitations
).

However if mysb.com goes away permanently in X years or soo the system
can still be used for playing my library of local files and a limited
web radio function via direct url's and possibly also some third party
plugins will still work like triodes spotify .
Some years later I expect to find something else to use .
Unless some clever antrepenour have resurected the system in some
fashion :) but that is not the highest probability .and then there is
replacement players for the squeezebox system ,there are software
players aviable from third parties but that's not enough .
