your chain would have to look more like this:
client -> squid (squidGuard) -> DansGuardian -> squid (adzapper)

P.S.  I'm not 100% sure if adzapper has to run from squid.

What would be the difference of having adzapper before DansGuardian and
not after it?  Are you trying to limit what DansGuardian pulls down and
content filters?

I have developed a virus plugin for DansGuardian which will virus scan
the content before giving it to you.  http://www.pcxperience.org/dgvirus/

In house we run this chain sequence:
client -> DansGuardian -> squid (squidGuard)

The other possibility is to use the blacklists from squidGuard in
DansGuardian, but if you are wanting the acl's that squidGuard has that
DansGuardian currently doesn't have then you still will need squidGuard
in the mix.
