There are two things called Ad Zapper.  The one I use (written by
Cameron Simpson see http://adzapper.sourceforge.net/) is definitely a
URL redirector and should be run as such.  You can run more than one
redirector from squid by using a wrapper script such as the two referred
to at the above URL.

Thus I would suggest:

client -> squid (squidGuard -> Ad Zapper) -> DansGuardian -> net

Here at Comcare I actually have two chained proxy servers, one in the
DMZ and one inside the firewall so I have the option of running things
in two places without the necessity for chaining redirectors from the
one squid instance.
