Not just *nix... I don't think you can do it on window either.

I'm not sure why it is displayed like that. I can probably think of
why, but my brain just went home ;)

INBOX is different in respect that in UW's case, it isn't called INBOX
as a file, and it isn't kept in the same place the rest of the files
are. UW builds INBOX from the spool file /var/spool/mail/[username],
while the others are built from the home directory (unless you are
playing with the source code).
