In any event, I believe you misunderstand the nature of how the multiple
identities feature works. If you have [EMAIL PROTECTED] defined as default,
but also have an identity for [EMAIL PROTECTED], when mail arrives
addressed to [EMAIL PROTECTED] your reply will automatically be FROM
[EMAIL PROTECTED] That's not a bug, it's a feature. Moreover, it's a
feature that many of us find very useful.

You are always free to override the automatic FROM, bu pulling down the
drop-down selection list in the FROM field in order to select your
preferred address.
