 Clicking "Display remote X applications on local X-Server."
will do the port-forwarding too (only next time you start TTSSH)
so you probably don't want to do the port forwarding (step "a")
 This really all you need(on the PC side)
if you run a local X server on 127.0.0.1
see also in the SSH FAQ
 <http://www.employees.org/~satch/ssh/faq/ssh-faq-5.html#ss5.10>
however this is suitable for individual X clients - not for XDMCP

 if you really want to run XDMCP I suggest you compile Xvnc on the Unix
side & use the VNC Win32 client on your NT
- tunneling VNC via SSH is trivial

For TTSSH - forward local port 5900 to
  remote(Xvnc) server port 5900+<VNC display number>
and connect VNC client to 127.0.0.1:0

Enjoy
