Hi Atro,

Yup, I know about all the problems with this and I'm sorry I didn't
mention it. However that doesn't change the fact that nobody here, where
I work, has been able to get X displays to work the way it is suppose
to using :10. We all need to do X displays between development machines
one way or an other, however.

SSH1 compiles on all the development machines (SUN, DEC, AIX) machines
and the workstations (Linux). None of the below problems appear yet the
.Xauthority seems to be useless. Many people have tried to create keys
using xauth add, but they just do not work. Maybe it's a Kerberos
problem. I don't have root on the dev machines only my workstation so I
can't do the test you mentioned below. Wish I could.

SSH never sets DISPLAY correctly anywhere. Interesting on my home network
it does and nothing is different except I have kerberos temporarily
disabled on one of my home machines behind the gateway. Thinking Kerberos
here? I wonder!!!

Speaking of Kerberos, SSH1 won't compile with the new krb-1.1.1 unless you
apply the patch I submitted about a week ago.

I really would love to get this X11 thing fixed.

Thanks Carl
