Yes I did. The best solution was to upgrade to 9.1.
The solution for 8.6 was to use finderpop as suggested to see what else was going on.
I removed
several apps that I did not need to run. I used resed to increase the RAM for FINDER.
I reset the
PRAM and I also took apart the system and saw that the PCI daughter card ws not quite
lined up
correctly, so I removed the daughter card and adjusted the case to allow the card to
seat
correctly. I also installed a program called Coherency:

Check this out - ask Korg tek if the 1212 requests DMA access - evidently
PCI cards which do, have a problem with Tanzania macs and clones.. there is
a possible fix for this: a small program called "Coherency" which you can
find via the starmax.net website - it may solve the problem.
The author of the program states that with it should allow any card that is
compatible with a 7500 to work with Tanzania.
