I've been saving some messages from the list for a while, on this issue, and
on going back and checking them, all that was said was that someone had a
friend who found IDE to be "crap" for CD burning and gave him nothing but
trouble.

Just wondering if there are any real reasons for getting a SCSI burner over
IDE, other than a joyful spirit to spend a lot more cash? :)
