I have to buy a replacment for my monitor. It will be hooked up with my 5000 250 Starmax, OS 9.1. I would like to have a 17 inch LCD. I use the computer for preparing for press small publications, such as newsletters for spot color printing.
Questions-- 1. are there any compatibility issues I should be aware of? 2. Price differences in models shown in mail order catalogs are related to "contrast ratio" -- 500:1 are about $75 more than 350:1 or 400:1. I don't know whether I should care about contrast ratio. 3.
