I have bought a Orangeliink + PCI card giving firewire and USB connections. You have to upgrade to OS 9.1 for best results. You can get it from Other world computing. Go to the web site. In fact they have a good question and answer service to upgrading most things, with there stuff of course! I was also interested in your comment about signals! I have a new problem with Netscape I use. I use 4.6. I did upgrade to, I think it was 5 or something and what crap that was, one could have either all blue of classic mode, yet the function was dire, so I went back to 4.6. If anyone can recommend further versions ( I have heard they improved it) of Netscape for the G3, I also have, cos I have noticed that some sites are now telling me I have such an old Netcape running they will not send me anything! There is a bit of a dilemma for the StarMax 4000/200 running, as it does only classic and as the next Netscape is crap, and the further ones I think run OSX only! We also have an array of new and aging computers, wo Toshiba laptops one spanking new and an oldsatellite. A Performer mac, a Blue and white G3 all in one, a G3 which is really souped up to run as a G4 with a few other whistles added. Then there are the printers, the hnd held the plug ins periarterial. I sometime wish they would bust so I had an excuse to chuck them away! I have not got round to joining them together yet however, it is on the cards. How did you turn you Max over to a server (interesting idea)? By the time I finished reading this mail I realised I am one hoarder as well!
