I agree. Actually QML for this kind of stuff would be quite useful
because it's all dynamic. Tthe only problem in QML is that there are
no basic components library (yet), which means that you'd have to
recode basic stuff like number input etc..

Yeah as usual we have to make the good trade-offs, and I usually bend
in favor of simpler with less features :)

The problem is that for the hard-coded GUI we don't have flexibility..
