To be honest, I haven't really used STFax for a while, so I can't
really help with this. However, there are other Solo users on this list,
so maybe they can help - even if it's just to say that they have
experienced no problems with STFax since flashing the Solo to V2.04.

I presume you were getting lower connects speeds before flashing to V2.04,
right? There is a beta firmware version doing the rounds at the moment,
which is less "aggressive" in terms of estimating line quality. I think
you'll find that this may solve the connection problems and lock-ups,
as others who have tested it have found. You'll need to mail Mick Breeze
([EMAIL PROTECTED]) and ask him nicely if you could try the beta
version of the firmware, explaining you are experiencing connection
problems since flashing to V2.04. Oh, and mention you're an Amiga user,
so he doesn't send you the PC upgrader :)
