Yes, STFax sets the time automatically. The Solo also sets its time/date
whenever a call comes in, if CallerID is enabled on the line.
As for the PC software, that's a bit off-topic - probably best to join
the Solo mailing list - http://www.egroups.com/group/56solo/ - and ask
about it there (I don't know the answer myself).
