Chris,
You are md of a company, did you ever get any sales training ?
Ever heard the saying "the customer is always right"
OK, it isn`t meant to be literal, we all know that some customers arn`t. But
it is supposed to suggest that no matter how wron a customer is, it`s your
job to deal with it diplomatically and have him leave feeling that you give
a shit.
I run a video/multimedia production company and we have just completed an
edit for McDonalds. Today they called and said that althought they are very
happy with their video, they have a short list of things that could be
improved/changed.
I didn`t say to their MD - go and use the BBC instead then, let them do your
video.
No, I would very much like to keep McDonald`s as a client, so I wasn`t rude.
Bottom line Chris, Mr McDonald can get on the phone and tell me my edit was
crap but if I want his business, I need to listen to what he say`s and let
him leave feeling like he WAS right.
Yes it is frustrating some times when you get repeated complaints.
BUT, you are in BUSINESS so get a little
snip from another of your replies

So, are Amiga users any more complacant than pc or mac users, cos I use all
three machines ?
