Just installed storm (rain) from a old magazine and upgraded to Hail.
Nice job!
I setup enlightenment and gnome during the fresh installation of rain.
Now that I have upgraded, Enlightenment starts, but I have to go to a
xterm
to get gnome running. Is there something I missed while upgrading?
Also, when logged in a normal user (I am using root now), I can't log
into
a xterm session. A window comes up saing check
linux/Documentation/Changes.
I can't find anything to address/fix that problem.
Another general question. What has everybody found to be best video
resolution?
I have a new 17" monitor capable of 1280X1024. If I choose 800x600 the
screen is
too big (like netscape), and I have to use a virtual window. If I use
higher resolutions
then the typing is very small :( Oh yes, my card is ATI LT .
Any help appreciated
