Thanks for answering!

Booting screen (Linux): Ath0 Macronix 98715 PMAC rev.37
Ath1 Macronix 98715 PMAC rev.32
(my two cards, I guess)
Operation failed
It seems to recognize the cards, but it does not install them.
I don't know if it failed for one or both cards?

Even though I cut my computer milk teeth on VIC-20, C-64 and Amiga (text
based, even Amiga - used mostly shell), I have no experience with Linux
terminal. I am learning from various Linux books, but I did not get very
far yet.
I went to Konsole, typed in "lsmod", got "no such command" or something
similar.
Have been playing with "ls" command", could not get any response to
"lsmode". What am I doing wrong? Is it "ls -mode" or somesuch? I tried
that...
Looking at the box (ethernet card) it says 10/100Mbps PCI Ethernet
Adapter" - Phoebe. The other card was supplied by Rogers, it comes up with
the same name (in Windows)

I do feel like an ideal reader for "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Linux"...,
that's what I am learning from. Problem is that the book is about Caldera -
it crashes my Pentium III frequently and not a sign of S.A.S. ....
Will Ivan go back (humbly) to the Windows ME machine?
Will he ever learn how to use Linux?
Will he ever learn how to tie his shoelaces without help?
Only time will tell....
Ivan S.
