....well, I was just about ready to quit or go to Caldera.
I pulled the other card, re-installed Stormix.
B.T.W., I am using I.S.O. image, when I try to install unistalled stuff,
system sulks and won't talk to me. When I hit "All" while installing, it
throws a fit - various errors, can't find this, can't find that...
On top of that, even though my sound card (AWE 64 Gold) worked perfectly
well after the first install, it quits playing WAW's. It still plays MIDI,
plays musical CD's, but will not repeat that limey guy talking about
whatever he is talking about. I can't live without it!
When I go to SAS and re-install the card, it works for a bit, than it quits.
System sounds do not work either (any more).
Don't know..

Yeah, it was a typo.

Thanks a lot, will try, see what happens...

Well, I did pull one card. Problem is my box is a server to my wife's
computer.

Pump?? O.K. I thought you are kidding - isn't Linux wonderful? I like that
mysterious something called "bitchx"...
