Morning Folks,
Well, it's nice to be writing to the list and not have a question to ask.
I was sitting reading this list mail that has come in over the last 12 hours
and had a few thoughts, so figured I'd share them with the list.
Basically, it's this:
My hat is off to everyone on the list. Having been on a number of Linux/OSS
lists over the years, I can honestly say this mailing list is one of the best
I have ever come across. The company, Stormix in this case, actually reads
and responds to the list and I find this refreshing. The users who answer
newbie questions, do so in a polite manner with none of that "Oh, a newbie"
attitude. I have yet to witness a flame war about the other distros or even
MS for that matter.
This list sums up a lot of what is important to me about Linux and Open
Source software. We don't always have to agree, but when we don't, we need
not get into a flame war about it. Users helping users and a company that
stands behind it's project/product.
Thank you all again for making Linux(stormix) enjoyable to use.
Cheers folks,
