[SLU] DVD Players for Linux?

I have a quick question about DVD ROM drives. I have a dual boot machine with a DVD 
Rom drive that works fine
in Windows and appears to operate well (at least as a CD-ROM) in Linux. Are there any 
software DVD Players
available for Linux and if so can someone reccomend a good one?
