What is this development project of which you speak? :)

This is one of the few areas that I must currently boot into Windows for. Since
I already pay for the content with the purchase of a DVD, I would think that
the utility to play said material would be free (as it is in Windows.) If Linux
is to truly become mainstream I would see this as a key piece of functionality.
Don't you?
