Yes, I know, no more Progeny questions, so feel free to E-mail me with
responses rather than the list....
...but I was just wondering WHY people were switching to Progeny? I'm just
settling down with Storm (was previously having technical issues that kept
forcing me to reinstall), and I'm extremely happy with it... now everything
is running quite nicely, and I'd like to keep it that way (well, I still need
to do some things like upgrade X, but there seems to have been enough
discussion about that on the list already to help me out).... I'm wondering
why I would want to "upgrade" to Progeny rather than stick with this and the
occassional apt-get upgrade........? It seems this process has been causing
problems for most people, and those that have it working haven't said
anything about it that makes it sound as good as Storm....
I'm asking this list rather than the Progeny list because I am also
interested in the opinions of Storm users that might have considered
switching to Progeny and decided against it, wheras I am not interested in
the opinions of those that use Progeny but never used Storm...
