Well, my grognard's opinion is : "don't need it because I've considered it, and it just sucks" !
Again, please prove the usefulness of using the HTTP method over a request parameter. Apart from making things even more complex (servers don't implement that and that method, new protocol nightmares etc.), and generating a huge amount of noise in trendy newsgroups, I don't see any. Meta-philosophical discussions I've read about all this are just the same they had for SOAP and WebServices back in the days. Buzzwords. The funniest thing is that I've read several times in such meta-philosophical discussions that REST was pragmatic compared to SOAP... :-) Cheers Remi On Wed, Jul 9, 2008 at 3:00 PM, Freddy D. <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > having a 'don't need it, don't wanna > learn anything new' attitude. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsored by: SourceForge.net Community Choice Awards: VOTE NOW!
