Hi,

I didn't read everything in this post since it's very long, but I will repeat
what has been said in the MyBatis mail list. I think it might help to have
additional ideas.
The MyBatis developers agreed to add more developers in the framework. That was
one reason for moving from Apache to Google Code since permissions are easier
to maintain.
Once the new MyBatis (3.0) was available, we found out that other frameworks
didn't support us. So we decided to invite people to add code outside the
MyBatis core into integration packages. Extensions/integrations are stored
directly inside MyBatis SVN (inside some sub-folders).

I think using that approach with Stripes would help and would limit changes to
the core itself. And having extensions directly inside the Stripes SVN will
please people who look for integration with other frameworks.
I guess that StripesStuff could be moved as an extension of Stripes and copied
in Stripes SVN itself. Extensions don't need to be released at the same time as
Stripes, they can still have their own lifecycle.

Christian
