OK thanks for the information.Do you know if there is any chance that 1680x1050 will ever bu supported via a firmware upgrade, or is it a hardware limitation in the SR2?

Thanks again.

Florent,

The SunRay 2 has a max resolution of 1600x1200. Since the resolution
you want is outside of that range, it will not display correctly. You
can shrink it to 1600x1000, but it might not be as clear as the native
resolution. This is why we ended up going with the 2FS instead.

Hi,

After finding
<http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg01443.html>, I
used utresdef/utresadm to install new timing for an LG L226WT screen
(1680x1050).

After rebooting the SunRay, I get a "virtual" screen of 1680x1050 mapped
into 10280x1024: the display scrolls at the right and bottom edges.

xdpyinfo reports 1680x1050
utxconfig -l reports DIMENSIONS=auto

I tried utxconfig -r 1680x1050, but same result.

Sunray2 firmware: 3.1_120879-06_2007.03.13.15.14
SRSS 3.1 with patch 120880-06 (OpenSolaris x86 b55)

Thanks for any pointers.
Florent
