Ending up logging a support call for this.
It was for that 'multiple characters in a single space' problem. (most
noticeably in Outlook)
Good news is that Sun has finally been able to reproduce the problem.
Hope to see a fix soon! It was so bad over there that I had to switch
them to rdesktop.
