I don't know why Composite isn't enabled in Xnewt, since it's present in the
Xorg version they based on, but DRI/DRI2 don't make much sense on a Sun Ray
system, since there's no way a client can directly access the video device since
they're never local (X clients can't run on the DTU itself, where the video
device is located). The only use I would know of for either would be if VDPAU
support was added for video decoding on Sun Ray, since it uses DRI2 to determine
information about the underlying hardware capabilities and which backend to use.
As for crashes, those are bugs that should be reported to support so they
can be fixed.
