Not sure $$ would work. Would have to ptree it out to see if it's the
parent shell or if utaction runs in it's own shell. $$ is the pid of
the current shell only.
As far as utsession -k, I believe that requires root.
FWIW, I wouldn't do the YUV file, too much traffic. What your doing now
falls under the category WWCD. ;)

OOPS!
Craig, once again, you are the MAN! I set the utaction but used "kill -9 $$" which of course seldom
really works. That was to be another troubleshooting project. Now I understand why it doesn't work! The kiosk
script bash process is apparently already gone when the utaction fires up! Using $USER, in this case one of
the utku???? userids, should clean up the remaining fragments of the session much better. What about using
"utsession -k -u $USER"?? or is the session "gone" enough that utsession isn't going to
find anything to kill?
I also considered changing my policy to cards-only and creating a YUV file from
the classification banner to use as the insertcard.yuv. However, the banner
covers about 2/3 of the screen, considerably larger than the recommended
business card size image.
Thanks!
