On my C500 it plugs into a connector on the riser card directly behind the
floppy drive. On page 91 of my SuperMac C500 User's Guide, step 4 for
accessing the L2 cache slot reads "Disconnect the floppy disk drive ribbon
cable from the riser card." so it must be standard for all C500s
