Sounds like I should try the lower slot. I think I've

name card is good cuz I put it back in the 9600 and it

Does anyone know if I can swap processors and not mess
things up? I assume the innards are the same except
for the CPU, right? I really don't need to examples of
this model "on display". <grin>

I think I've got at least 35 Macs and clones here not
counting dupes, which I try to avoid
