Thanks, John. That thing worked really well! Looks
like I need to upgrade to Panther tho. I hear it can
support external DVD players with the new version of
DVD Player. I wasn't able to find iDVD on the install
disks so maybe that either doesn't exist or at least
isn't included.
I guess what I'm trying to do is get video tapes onto
my drive and turn them into DVDs. I'm having trouble
with both processes. I tried BTV for getting the data
into the computer but the audio and video go out of
sync for some reason and so it isn't usable. I used
Toast to burn the DVD, but the processing takes about
10 minutes for one minute of movie. I'm wondering if
there isn't a better way. Maybe I'm asking too much of
my aging equipment.
