Right now I'm running 10.2.8 but I may try going to Panther. The drive is a OWC Mercury Pro Dual Layer DVD-/+RW Pioneer DVR-108 16X External. also attached to the computer via firewire is a 160 gig WD drive and a Pinnacle "Movie Box" interface for getting the video and audio signals into the computer. The computer itself also has the audio/video "personailty" card in it, but so far the video is jumpy when using BTV as the input program and those connections.
