I'm getting about 3 or 4 of them a day now too [though none today, so far]. Typically the list software only sends these messages when it can't connect to our ISP's mail server. However, I am my own ISP [i run my own mail server], and I've not had any issues with any other lists I subscribe to [over 40 of them!]. I would tend to think that for some reason the server that the list software runs on is having problems connecting to other sites, and doesn't realize that it's a problem with its local server, and not the subscribers' mail servers. /vjl/ [who also runs several mailing lists too] -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
