Same problem here--love dual monitors. I find it strange that Apple seems to ignore this super advantage they've had since 1987 of cleanly and natively supporting multiple monitors.

Has anyone hacked a second video connector into a Mac Mini? I don't remember what video chip it uses, but I do remember (I think) reading about it at some point and thinking, that video chip supports dual monitors. It might be possible to add a second port somehow. Of course, with more chips being BGA these days, it might not be possible, but who knows? Maybe there are pins on the motherboard, like the secret floppy connector on early iMacs.
