I'm used to use the right-mouse-context menu if i wish to copy/move mails or copy postings. No problems. Now i have tried it several times your way, also without problems. Let's wait, what others have to say. At the moment it looks to me like a problem with your machine. ;) Maybe an extension. If so, safe-mode would show.
