It's also hard to comprehend for me why Preferences is resizable while Account Settings is not. IMO the latter should be resizable, too. Of course that is not to say that the dialog contents should be allowed to exceed the default width when using default DPI settings, though.
I only found bug 529245 for Thunderbird. We should probably just file a bug for SM, even though in the end it might be moved to MailNews Core since AFAIK the dialog is shared between the two apps. Beverly, could you take care of that please and post the bug number here? Thanks.
