You might want to get involved in the trenches of Bugzilla:
Thanks. Yeah, I'm an occasional participant in those discussions and
have already been vocal about this issue. Unfortunately, I don't see a
quick resolution. I will, however, take a look at creating a plugin or
extension over the next few weeks to see if there's a way around this.
If it's possible to disable the XUL notifications and enable the app to

Bugzilla is a waste a of time I've been part of bugzilla for years I've
reported bugs.
I've railed against stupid changes and all I've received the attitude of
STFU.
Unless you’re a developers , code writer, etc. They don't want to hear
it. I've been part of bugzilla since almost the day it was created. And
if you’re a user your just sopinning your wheels. The idea is pervasive,
that a user doesn't know how to put on his pants in the morning so why
listen to them on something as technical as bugs or how FireFox,
SeaMonkey should work. They are not interested the User Point of vew.
I've heard it time and time again that Users don't know anything or
users don't know at they want.
