I don't feel what I wrote to be untrue. I find Google Chrom* to be hopelessly limiting except WRT Flash support.
Maybe it was misleading, as I didn't mean to imply SM devs have such goals, just those working on FF and such foundational components (e.g. Gecko & Necko) as are necessary to further FF developer agenda.
