IMHO most of the issues that you see regarding IE vs SM is not in the SM's
software. It is in the HTML of the pages that do not work or do not display
properly in SM whilst they do work or display properly in IE.

When you find a page that works in IE but not SM, check it out at
https://validator-suite.w3.org/

If the validator shows errors, the problem you have with SM is NOT SM -
it is the coding of that page.

Contact the webmaster of that page and inform him (not that it will do and
good).
