CTRL-SHIFT-A
Choose "Plugins" from the menu at left.
Look for a listing like this:
Java(TM) Platform SE 8 U101
At the right, you'll see a button with the options
[Always Activate]
[Ask to Activate]
[Never Activate]
The first option will just run Java whenever a website wants to. The
second option will prompt you for a decision each time a website wants
to run Java. The third will just ignore the request without asking you.
Choose as you think best.
If you want more details, click "More."
Remember, Java is not the same as javascript.
