What part of "Preferences" is that choice located.
Pref for the Main Browser or for Mail & Newgroups ?
Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings.
Under "Server Settings" for the account in question, look at the bottom
of the pane for "Local directory:"
If it's not what you want, enter the correct path.
