You certainly can, but you'll need to do some customization. Specifically, you'll
need to create a new layout. (If you've never done this before, I recommend reading
through the Filemaker Pro manual, taking an FMP class, or doing a web tutorial.
Always make a backup copy of the database before changing this sort of thing.)
How to do it:
1.Sign into ebase with the master password.
2.Go into Layout mode
3.Click on Layout>New Layout
4.Choose Layout Type=Labels. If your labels are a standard Avery size, you should be
able to choose them from a standard list which will set up margins, etc. for you.
Otherwise you'll just have to play with them by hand to get them right.
5.Enter the fields to appear on the labels. Easiest thing to do here would just be to
copy the text box containing the merge fields from the existing Ebase labels layout.
Then you can change font size, etc. to suit your new layout.
Of course, once you've made the new layout, you may want to create a button that takes
you there and allows you to print from it. This is a whole other ball of wax and
would require some familiarity with Filemaker scripting. If you're not familiar with
this, again you may want to take a class or try to get a consultant to help you. You
can always ask this list for help as well, once you get started.
