Great advice, thank you. I was able to use the custom layouts, and under
the 'make new layout feature' in filemaker, make it on the blank layout.
Unfortunately, the labels layout didn't allow for anyhting with only 2
labels on a page.

Anyhow, I'm able to make one label, by using the blank layout and putting in
the mailing info from the text box. Do you know of anyway that I could make
it put two labels on the same page, with two different people? I tried
putting two sets of mailing info text box's in, but that just made the same
name and address appear twice on the page. Thought maybe you or someone knew
of another way.

Many thanks,
Matthew Albracht

Specifically, you'll need to create a new layout. (If you've never done
this before, I recommend reading through the Filemaker Pro manual, taking an
FMP class, or doing a web tutorial. Always make a backup copy of the
database before changing this sort of thing.)

you should be able to choose them from a standard list which will set up
margins, etc. for you. Otherwise you'll just have to play with them by hand
to get them right.

would just be to copy the text box containing the merge fields from the
existing Ebase labels layout. Then you can change font size, etc. to suit
your new layout.

button that takes you there and allows you to print from it. This is a
whole other ball of wax and would require some familiarity with Filemaker
scripting. If you're not familiar with this, again you may want to take a
class or try to get a consultant to help you. You can always ask this list
for help as well, once you get started.
