I can easily do that.

The WAN interface is unused and unassigned/unconfigured/disabled on
the 4801.  As I said above, my 4801 LAN interface goes to the m0n0wall
gateway ethernet port.  And everything works on the LAN side (ssh(8) to
pfSense on the 4801 and HTTP to pfSense on the 4801).

Both the client (11g laptop) and the 4801 (11g/ath0 access point) show
that association has been achieved (at the link level?) but I don't
get an IP address handed out from the DHCP server running on the 4801.
If I assign, say, 10.0.0.34, to the laptop, what should I use as the
gateway address?  Since the 4801 is bridging the LAN and OPT2 (ath0)
interfaces, methinks the m0n0wall (10.0.0.1) gateway should be used.
But maybe 10.0.0.33 is the gateway address.  I am confused about this.
