I've been pondering that M$ might have done that as yet another means of
ensuring exclusivity. You just can't use a program designed to go into
program files on another OS, even if the 16bit-32 bit thing isn't an issue.
It's that LFN again!
Do other OS's support LFN? I suspect Linux handles it somehow, as I'm told
you can access the win9x file structure with it. What about BeOS?
