Now, don't you all be trashing Macintosh! It's a very intuitive system
well suited to learning without a manual. You can just go on and start
clicking on things and making things happen without having any idea before
you start and within a few weeks you know pretty much what you are doing.
Unlike a CLI where you have to have a few clues before you proceed!
Ever consider how many possible ways the copy command could be syntaxed?
In GUI it's basically there in the menu and you don't have to try and guess
or *gasp* look it up in a book!
Mac was the computer of choice around this part of the world for most
offices, University, and institutions until very recently when Win95
provided an equable interface, equally intuitive. Unix and DOS were only
used in cases where people had more time than money so were willing to take
the time to learn.
