That is certainly true on Win95, but on 3.1 it is much more
straightforward. There are very few places that 3.1 can hide things
and they are easily found. Look in win.ini and, umm, a couple of
other ini's whose names elude me just now...
Earlier versions of IE were also far better behaved than the later
versions. At least I had no problems when I uninstalled IE from 3.1.
