I don't understand.  Are you saying that there is some kind of Y2K problem
with version 2.1f, and that one must resort to some kind of a work-around
to resolve it?

I generally find that it is usually best to install retrograde software
in all cases where you can get the features you essentially want in a
lower version.  The less bloat the better.

Yes, please do send me version 2.1f, unless it has some kind of complicated
Y2K problem.  If someone could please direct me to a site where this old
version may be downloaded, then that would be preferable.
